Man, 21, gunned down in Red Bird parking lot; gunman at large, Dallas police say

A 21-year-old man was fatally shot Saturday night in a Red Bird parking lot and the gunman remains at large, Dallas police say.

Police were dispatched about 9:30 p.m. to the 4400 block of Woodhollow Drive, near Ledbetter Drive and Hampton Road, where they found Samuel Williams shot multiple times in the driver’s seat of his parked car.

Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.

A suspect has not been identified, and police did not release any additional information.
