Dallas police searching for gunman who opened fire near downtown DART rail station

Dallas police are asking for the public’s help to find a man who is suspected of shooting someone last month near a downtown DART rail station.

Investigators released photos Sunday of the suspect, who they said opened fire July 19 on a man about 6 a.m. at 900 Pacific Avenue, near the West End Station. A 50-year-old man who was not involved in the confrontation was struck by the gunfire and taken to a hospital. He is in stable condition, police said.

The gunman rode off on a bike and remains at large, police said. He was wearing a backpack, dark-colored pants, a light-colored shirt and a baseball cap.
