From James Harden to Cade Cunningham

James Harden will stop by his former home and new restaurant fairly early, Dec. 8. The Rockets will not see him in his new Brooklyn home with the Nets until April 6, the second-to-last road game of the season.

Russell Westbrook will not make it to Houston with the Lakers until Dec. 28, a few days before P.J. Tucker returns with the Miami Heat for the New Year’s Eve game. Chris Paul and the newly crowned Western Conference champion Suns are in Toyota Center Nov. 14.

The Rockets will get their first look at Clint Capela in a Hawks uniform on Dec. 13 in Atlanta, even if his tribute video was worth celebrating last season when he was out.

They are the champions

The NBA champion Bucks make their lone Houston appearance Dec. 10, with Rockets guard Kevin Porter Jr. averaging 50 points and 11 assists against the Bucks in Toyota Center.

Happy Holidays

The Rockets were not included in the Christmas Day or MLK Day showcases but they will host their annual New Year’s Eve game against the Miami Heat before playing New Year’s Day against the Denver Nuggets at Toyota Center.

Valentine’s Day will be celebrated in Utah, where there is always love in the air for visitors. They also play the Kings on April Fool’s Day, for those who celebrate.
