Syracuse, N.Y. ― Some special guests at Tuesday’s Syracuse-Pittsburgh basketball game might make Orange fans want to Shout!
Adam Weitsman, the Syracuse superfan, will have several members of the Buffalo Bills joining him in his courtside seats. Weitsman’s guests include Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen, wide receivers Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis, Tanner Gentry and Nigel King.
The Syracuse-Pitt game was a way for Allen and the other Buffalo players to unwind and bond, according to Weitsman.
Buffalo is 11-3 and locked up a spot in the playoffs with its dramatic 32-29 win over Miami on Saturday. The Bills play at Chicago this coming Saturday.
Weitsman said the players’ appearances came about at the last minute. He knows Diggs and the two follow each other on social media. He found out on Tuesday that the players would be able to come. Tuesday is normally an off day for NFL players during the normal game week.
Weitsman hinted that some Bills players would be at the game on social media posts late Tuesday afternoon. In addition to the NFL players, Weitsman hosted police officers, fire fighters and nurses in his suite at the Dome.
Some of Weitsman’s previous courtside guests have included NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, NFL superstar Tom Brady, “The Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon, and many more.
Tuesday’s game was Syracuse’s first home game against an ACC opponent this season.
