New Retail Buildings Coming to Dallas’ Henderson Avenue East of the Knox Street District » Dallas Innovates

Dallas’ Knox Street district has seen booming construction in the last few years. Now more retail construction is about to hammer away on the other side of North Central Expressway, on Henderson Avenue.

According to the Dallas Morning News’ Steve Brown, New York-based Acadia Realty Trust—which became the largest owner on Henderson in 2022 when it acquired several retail buildings and vacant land for $85.4 million—plans to break ground this summer on over $3.4 million worth of single-story retail buildings totaling more than 12,000 square feet.

Dallas-based GFF Architects did the building designs.

Acadia already owns over 160,000 square feet of buildings on Henderson Avenue leased by businesses including Sprouts, Warby Parker, Henderson Tap House, Fireside Pies, and Tecovas, Brown writes.
