Shooting near downtown Dallas leaves one man dead early Sunday mornnig

Dallas police are investigating a shooting at nightclub parking lot that left a man dead early Sunday morning.

It happened along Riverfront Boulevard around 2:30 a.m.

The accused shooter was detained, and the weapon was recovered from the scene.

Police are still investigating what led up to the shooting.
