The group stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup comes to a close Friday after a week and a half of incredible action. Kicking things off in Group H, Uruguay (1-1-1) defeated Ghana (1-0-2) 2-0 at Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah, Qatar but failed to advance to the Knockout Round.

Meanwhile, South Korea (1-1-1) took down Portugal (2-0-1) in the other Group H match, though, both teams advanced.

Here are the top plays!

Ghana vs. Uruguay Highlights

Uruguay 2, Ghana 0

17′: Penalty on Uruguay goalkeeper

Initially, it appeared that Uruguay goalkeeper Sergio Rochet made a pivotal save and then hindered a shot off the deflection. A VAR check ruled that Rochet made contact with midfielder Mohammed Kudus, though, giving Ghana a penalty kick.

21′: Missed opportunity

Andre Morgan Rami Ayew failed to connect on the penalty kick for Ghana, as Rochet denied the forward’s shot attempt.

26′: GOAL!

After a potential disaster on the other end, Uruguay struck first, as midfielder Giorgian de Arrascaeta knocked in a header, giving Uruguay a 1-0 lead.

60′: Yellow card for Luis Suarez

The Uruguay forward was given a yellow card and had some choice words for the referee thereafter.

79′: Trying to get back in it

It was a struggle for Ghana to get off clean shots. They had a reasonable chance to cut the two-goal deficit in half when forward Antoine Semenyo got ahold of the ball near the net, but his shot was wide to the right.

81′: Another almost

Ghana had another scoring opportunity a mere minute later, but Kudus’ shot attempt was tipped by Rochet.

93′: Should this have been a penalty?

Trying to get one more goal on the board, Uruguay forward Edinson Cavani and Ghana defender Alidu Seidu both went down while going for the ball. Uruguay called for a penalty, but none was given by the referee.

Uruguay went on to win 2-0.
